Two equals one!

Try this one, math fans:

X = 1, Y = 1

X = Y = 1

X^2 = Y^2

X^2 = XY

X^2 - Y^2 = XY - Y^2

expand the above terms to get:

( X - Y ) ( X + Y ) = ( X - Y ) Y

then cancel ( X - Y ) on each side to get:

X + Y = Y, or

1 + 1 = 1 --> 2 = 1 !!!
