Imzadi, indeed…

Imzadi (pronounced em-ZAH-dee) was a Betazed word most closely translated as "beloved." 

It was frequently used as a term of endearment. Deanna Troi telepathically called Commander William T. Riker "imzadi" upon their first meeting on board the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint")
